# Public Goods Award

The SCF Public Good Award is designed to support community-maintained public goods—such as key infrastructure and tools for ecosystem visibility, data, and governance—that directly strengthen the Stellar ecosystem. 

Managed through Soroban Governor with voting power weighted by [Neural Quorum Governance (NQG)](https://stellar.gitbook.io/scf-handbook/governance/neural-quorum-governance), the SCF Public Good Award allows [SCF verified community members](https://stellar.gitbook.io/scf-handbook/governance/verified-members) to propose and allocate funding of up to $50K in XLM\* per proposal per quarter—reflecting real ecosystem demand and enabling shared ownership of the growth and resilience of the Stellar ecosystem.\
